DAY 00: ARRIVAL DAY

As you step foot onto Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, a warm Tanzanian welcome awaits you. Your safari adventure begins with our dedicated driver-guide and a safari vehicle ready for your arrival. After assisting you with your luggage, we'll present you with refreshing bottled mineral water. Prepare for a scenic 45–50-minute road transfer to your carefully selected lodge or hotel in Arusha, where you can unwind, savor a delightful dinner, and spend a peaceful night. Before leaving you to your relaxation, your knowledgeable driver-guide will provide you with an engaging briefing about the exciting safari experiences ahead. Rest assured, your stay includes dinner and breakfast.

DAY 01: EMBARK TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK FOR GAME DRIVES AND GAME VIEWINGS

As the sun illuminates the African landscape, you'll relish a hearty breakfast at your lodge. Your expert guide will then swing into action, collecting your luggage and safari-packed lunches ready for your adventure. Embark on a 2.5-hour journey to Tarangire National Park, a sprawling 2,850-square-kilometer sanctuary adorned with Combretum woodland, Acacia woodland, and iconic baobab trees. Here, you'll encounter magnificent herds of African elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, gazelles, hartebeests, and playful warthogs that can be seen grazing beneath acacia trees or congregating along the serene riverbanks. Keep your camera ready, as regal lions, wily hyenas, formidable buffaloes, and a colorful array of avian species might cross your path during exhilarating game drives. DAY 02: EN ROUTE GAME DRIVES CENTRAL TO NORTH SERENGETI

Today offers yet another splendid opportunity to bask in the awe-inspiring vistas of the landscape and witness a profusion of wildlife and avian wonders. DAY 03-04: WILDEBEEST MIGRATION GAME DRIVES IN THE NORTHERN SERENGETI

Today is dedicated entirely to thrilling game drives with a singular mission: to witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the world's greatest wildebeest migration in full swing. This annual phenomenon sees vast herds of wildebeests, accompanied by zebras and an array of herbivores, including both large and small species, journeying harmoniously across the Serengeti's central, western, and northern regions, eventually extending into Kenya's Masai Mara game reserve. Be prepared to navigate amidst these immense herds, and if fortune favors, catch a glimpse of their daring river crossings, where formidable crocodiles lie in wait for the vulnerable and unwary. Along the way, it's common to encounter prides of lions congregating around fresh kills or stealthily setting up ambushes, while hyenas and vultures scavenge at the remains of buffalo hunts. DAY 05: EN ROUTE GAME DRIVES SERENGETI TO LAKE VICTORIA

On this exciting day, you'll enjoy thrilling game drives in the vast Serengeti, offering the chance to see lots of wildlife and various bird species. As you explore, keep your eyes peeled for nature's incredible inhabitants. After a day filled with wildlife encounters, continue your journey towards the picturesque Lake Victoria. By late afternoon, you'll arrive at a cozy lodge near the lake's shores, where you can unwind with a delicious dinner and enjoy a peaceful night's rest, reflecting on the remarkable animals and birdlife you've witnessed during the day. DAY 06: CANOEING, AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCES IN LAKE VICTORIA

Today, embark on a unique adventure as you paddle a canoe alongside local fishermen to reach a nearby village. Upon arrival, take a leisurely stroll through the village, immersing yourself in its vibrant culture and way of life. Listen to the fishermen's captivating songs, and let our knowledgeable local guide enlighten you about their various fishing techniques. This enchanting journey lasts a little over two hours and is best enjoyed in the morning, with departures available between 7:30 and 10:00 a.m. during which the lake is serene, and the fishermen bring in their overnight catches. Afterward, return to the lodge for some well-deserved rest and a hot lunch. Later in the day, set off on an adventure to central Serengeti via the western gate, embarking on game drives en route your lodge or camp for dinner, and overnight stay. DAY 07: NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR TO LAKE EYASI

In the morning following a hearty breakfast, your journey continues as you descend into the crater's floor for a day filled with wonderful game drives. Ngorongoro crater is a vast, pristine volcanic caldera, spanning over 102 square miles, encircled by towering 2,000-foot-high walls. Within this natural haven reside rare and endangered black rhinoceros, black-backed jackals, hippos, regal secretary birds, graceful ostriches, formidable buffaloes, wildebeests, ibis’ stocks, starlings, majestic lions, gentle elephants, kori bustards, elegant crane birds, cunning hyenas, fleet-footed gazelles, playful baboons, sturdy warthogs, stately elands, leopards, vultures, sand grouse, and a myriad of other captivating creatures. After an exhilarating day of game drives and a delightful lunch, you'll ascend the crater walls and drive to Lake Eyasi for dinner, and overnight at the lodge or camp. DAY 08: CULTURAL TOUR WITH THE HADZABE TRIBE IN LAKE EYASI, FLY TO ZANZIBAR

In the morning, and after breakfast, set out on an enthralling cultural odyssey to Lake Eyasi. Here, an immersive encounter awaits with the Hadzabe people, an indigenous group inhabiting the central rift valley of Lake Eyasi. Among the last vestiges of Tanzanian tribes leading a primitive, unadulterated lifestyle, the Hadzabe's unique existence shares striking parallels with the Kalahari Bushmen. Their survival hinges upon traditional hunting and foraging for wild fruits, forming the essence of their daily routine. Delve into their rich history, time-honored customs, and sacred traditions, both theoretically and through hands-on experience, as the welcoming Hadzabe generously share their cultural treasures. Later, enjoy a picturesque drive to Kilimanjaro Airport for your late flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, our dedicated company representative will extend a warm welcome, ensuring your comfort with refreshing bottles of water as you settle in for the transfer to your chosen hotel or resort for dinner, and overnight. DAY 09-11: ENCHANTING ZANZIBAR: A BEACH PARADISE WITH ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES.

Your days in Zanzibar are dedicated to indulging in the pristine sandy beaches, offering you the freedom to relax or pursue activities that enhance your beach holiday experience. Zanzibar is not just blessed with immaculate shores but also boasts a rich tapestry of culture, history, and natural wonders. You have the option to elevate your stay with a captivating sunset dhow cruise, a journey through Stone Town to delve into the island's authentic history, or a tantalizing spice tour. You can also choose to visit Prison Island to meet the giant tortoises and uncover its intriguing history or explore the mangroves and red colobus monkeys in the Jozani Forest. Shopping tours, full-day blue safaris over the Indian Ocean, and visits to Nakupenda Island are also on the menu. Other activities include; dolphin tours, snorkeling, kite surfing, horseback swimming, diving, and much more. These activities are available at an additional cost and can be arranged either directly at your hotel or through our services upon request. As each sun-kissed day comes to an end, retreat to your hotel or resort for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.
